As long as I work on the south side of Chicago, we talked about education, what we need to do and how to fix it. But things got worse as we saw our kids, the future of America and saw them being used as pawns in political games. That wasn't surprising when Illinois State Principal Tony Sanders learned that he had told his district to follow state law and to denialize President Trump's federal order to deny DEI and other related disorders in education.
Sanders recently chose to ignore a “dear colleague” letter from the U.S. Department of Education. Sanders stressed in his message to school leaders that Illinois prohibits discrimination against marginalized groups, and that the law requires that the law be represented in classroom instruction.
“Black history is American history,” writes Sanders. “The study of events related to the strong removal and illegal deportation of Mexican-American American citizens during the Great Repression is American history. The study of the role and contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people is American history.”
The Obama Library, which started with a noble DEI goal, is currently plagued by a racially charged $40 million lawsuit, and has swelled costs.
He added: “In Illinois, we strive to affirm, raise and support all students and their families.
He was supported by Illinois Democratic Gov. J.B. Pretzker. He accused the Trump administration of using the DEI issue to “just indiscriminately cut school funds.”
These two state officials are sitting on top of the failed Illinois education system. I've been on the other end of the ground spectrum and have been living watching the consequences of this failure for a long time and seeing it make me sick.

What these so-called educators care more about is their racial, sexual, or gender identity rather than actually educating them. From black life to gay pride, you can decorate your child with all the identity buttons, but what about educating them strictly? Why did you lose sight of this simple fact?
Why do we fear all sorts of discrimination that forget how to educate our children? My neighbors and many others can barely read and do math at the grade level.
Why have many of our parents been fooled by the idea that emphasis on our constant characteristics is a good thing? Why did we praise diversity over education?
Children are reflected by their parents. It also reflects the school system. And now, all of that reflex shows have failed.
Our only hope is to remove these schools from this DEI culture that weakens our children's minds with an ideological concept of diversity. You cannot use races on the road to excellence. All we can do is learn the path to excellence. That's why we have to demand one thing not just in Illinois, but all over the United States. It is a classic education that prepares children for the harsh reality of the world.

My neighborhood kids don't have DEI issues or diversity issues. They are very behind in education because of all this stupidity.
All they need is parents, excellent teachers, and skilled managers who know how to raise their children. That is the only way to bring our children from my neighborhood to the bigger world, where they can help create a truly eternal diversity of culture and thought.
