Across Nebraska, working people are not getting their due. Costs are too high, borders are in disarray, and career politicians spend their time enriching themselves and serving their donors without doing anything about it. The US Senate is nothing more than a redneck club of billionaires working for billionaires who have no idea what it's like to work for a living and are bankrupting this country.
Let's try something different.
I joined the Navy after high school and then joined the Nebraska National Guard. For the past 20 years, I have worked 50, 60, 70 hours a week on the factory floor to support my family. When food prices go up due to corporate greed and reckless government spending, my family, like yours, feels it in our pockets.
Republican incumbents Cruz, Fisher maintain narrow leads in Texas, Nebraska Senate races: poll

My opponent, incumbent Republican Sen. Deb Fischer, does not understand what we are going through. Since coming to Washington, Deb has become ten times richer, but the national debt has more than doubled. She sold Nebraska and lined her own pockets while we paid the price.
While in Washington, she enabled wasteful and reckless spending that led to a $35 trillion national debt. That's why she was censured by three Republican county parties here in Nebraska. As the Hitchcock County Republican Party memorably put it, Fisher “violated the fundamental tenets of conservatism that she publicly espouses.” Most recently, she failed to pass the Farm Bill, leaving Nebraska's farmers and ranchers, the backbone of the state's communities and economy, out to dry.

But things get even worse. Just this year, our senator Deb Fischer voted with Senate Democrats to repeal the Republican immigration plan that would have added 1,500 Border Patrol agents and $20 billion to border security. That is completely unacceptable. If there are no borders, there is no country. But Deb would rather do the bidding of corporate donors who profit from exploiting cheap labor.

Worst of all, my opponent is acting as if he has a right to the Senate seat. When she first ran for office, she vowed to uphold the two-term limit, but she shamelessly broke her promise to Nebraskans and ran for a third term.
She also flatly refuses to talk to people in Nebraska. Instead of holding town halls here in Nebraska, she's spending time with corporate donors in Washington. She refuses to have a debate with me that would require her to explain her background to the people of the state. Throughout this campaign, she has not held a single public event in Nebraska where people could ask her questions. During that time, I have hosted over 180 public events across the state.
My words mean something to me. It means something to my family. And that means something to Nebraskans. Deb Fisher showed us that her words mean nothing. She has sold out the Nelvascans many times. She cares about herself. She cares about her donors. She doesn't care about us.

This is one of the closest Senate races in the country right now, so Deb and her corporate buddies are nervous and are now spreading lies about me. The truth is, I agree with President Trump on many of the most important issues facing this country, including the need to drain the swamp and confront corruption and confront China. I'm right on President Trump's side. If he needs someone to help him build a wall, I'm pretty handy.

In the Senate, I will always put Nebraska first. I'm not going to look at the profits of big corporations and their checkbooks. We will not be bullied by China or Big Tech. Unlike Deb, I'm not going to put a price tag on Nebraskans. I will advocate for effective policies that actually benefit hard-working Nebraskans, including supporting small, family-owned businesses, lowering inflation and putting more money in our pockets, reducing crime, and keeping our borders closed. We are willing to work with or take on anyone from either party to implement it.
I don't vote because of political parties. I'm voting because of the people of this state. 12,000 Nebraskans from all 93 counties signed a petition to allow me to run for Senate, and I will continue to support my campaign by interacting one-on-one with the people of this state. We built support. People here know that politicians in Washington are failing. It's time for Nebraskans to have a senator who actually represents us. People who can't buy senators.
