The managers forced the Eagles to punt on their next drive. Daniels then took the lead with a 49-yard touchdown pass to Zaccheus. Washington dominated for six more minutes, but back-to-back field goals by Eagles kicker Jake Elliott gave Philadelphia the lead with less than two minutes remaining.
Daniels then led Washington with nine plays, finding wide receiver Jamison Crowder with enough space in the end zone for a go-ahead goal with six seconds left. The coaches took a three-goal lead and won the match.
Daniels completed 24-of-39 for 258 passing yards. In addition to five touchdown passes, he also threw two interceptions.
