Boxing fans are screaming for Jake Paul to compete harder in the ring.
However, after Paul and his team “negotiated deeper” with current WBO, WBA and WBC super middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez, the emergent champion “Ducked” Paul.
Alvarez's former promoter Eddie Hahn even said the two reached a deal to fight, but now the match is off.

Alvarez instead signed a four-fighting contract with the Riyadh season to fight in Saudi Arabia.
In a statement released Friday, Paul's most valuable promotion said that the fight took place in Las Vegas over Cinco de Mayo weekend.
“It's a shame to see how the situation unfolds. The MVP works with the integrity, transparency and respect of the sport, its athletes and fans. Unfortunately, everyone in the boxing world is worth it. “We are not sharing,” the MVP's statement said.
Paul then went to social media to discuss his side.
“Breaking News: Canelo Alvarez is a slave who covers Jake Paul, Jake Paul, and is now a possession slave in light of the pride of the Mexican people who support him in our soil,” Paul wrote. “It's not surprising when his entire career did nothing out of the ring for the sport of boxing.

“I'm a new face in boxing. You can't make the biggest fight of 2025 that my name doesn't matter. When everything in your event tanks and loses money, you're all in sports. You will understand who the king is. 28 years old. The greatest battle of boxing history.
Paul teased a July event in New York earlier this week.
Alvarez will still fight that weekend and fight his opponent. He is also scheduled for the title match against Terence Crawford on September 13th.
