Malachi Corey recently spent some time in Florida and during his visit he became the latest NFL player to claim UFO sightings.
The New York Jets wide receiver shared details about his strange experience on Wednesday.
According to Corley's post on X, he found an unidentified object floating in the sky for over 30 minutes.

The 23-year-old then claimed that the object disappeared without any traces. In a video posted by Corley on social media, he could see a blue light glowing behind the clouds.
“Say whatever you want. This object (UFO) was rightfully awake in the sky for over 30 minutes. I saw it. I saw it. I looked at it for about two minutes and looked up at it. There were no traces.”
Corey played college football in western Kentucky and led the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) in yards after catching 2021-23.

The Jets drafted Corey in the third round last year. At the time, he introduced himself to Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers via a fascinating time call, ESPN reported. At one point during the call, Corey landed an invitation to Rogers' New Jersey Mansion during training camp.

Despite his offseason efforts, Corey's rookie campaign started off a slow start. He appeared in three of New York's first seven games, with one catch for four yards.

Corey finished the year with a 16-yard receiving yard.
The Jets parted ways with head coach Robert Sale and general manager Joe Douglas during the 2024 season. Jeff Ulbric was selected as interim coach in October and finished his stint with a 3-9 record.

The Jets finished 5-12 last season and extended their playoff drought to 14 seasons.
Aarong Len, the Detroit Lions defensive coordinator from 2021 to 2024, was named the Jets' next head coach in January.
