Barrow's influence was felt. On third base and 12 from the Giants' own 47-yard line, Burrow decided to run the ball to the right. To everyone's surprise, there were no Giants players in sight. He sprinted for the longest touchdown run of his career, giving Cincinnati an early 7-0 lead.

Daniel Jones led the team with an 11-play, 42-yard drive, but Jaylin Hiatt was denied a long pass opportunity and the quarterback fired a pass into the facemask of a Bengals defender.
