Even the biggest gymnasts in arguably present weren't safe from Larry Nasser.
Simone Biles was one of the victims of many sexual abuse from her former trainer. He spends the rest of his life in the back of the car after abusing more than 100 gymnasts, let alone the gold medal winner.
Biles revealed in 2018 that she was abused by Nassar, and at a 2021 hearing she said the FBI “changed blind eyes.”

Jordan Chile, one of Biles' teammates, said that while Nassar was not abused and the two made history together, Chile said they never “never” spoke about his Biles' abuse.
“Believe me when all of that happened, I was devastated. Still, until today, I had never told her about it,” Chile told People Magazine. “I don't think I'll tell her about it because that was her life.

“I think having my presence is the best thing I can give to her, rather than sitting somewhere and having a conversation.
“She's a very strong woman,” Chile added. “We both had the same goals. We both had things we wanted to achieve. And now we look at her, she's a three-time Olympian and she has a husband. She's a dog mom. She's done something amazing.

Nasser, who was the chief doctor of the US Women's National Gymnastics Team from 1996 to 2014, was jailed in 2018, with at least 500 people accusing Nasser of assaulting him, dating back to his time in Michigan.
