Kelly Stafford, wife of Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, is apparently a big fan of Taylor Swift, despite comments she made about the singer earlier this year.
On Thursday's episode of her podcast, “The Morning After,” Stafford addressed speculation that she and Swift, who is dating NFL star Travis Kelce, are having trouble.

The issue appears to have stemmed from comments she made on a podcast in May, venting her frustration with the attention the couple received last season.

“I don't know if I want to see another four months of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey coverage,” she said at the time, via the New York Post.
However, Kelly and her family recently attended Elas' tour in New Orleans, prompting her to clear the air.
“I've never said I don't like Taylor Swift, but I will say that I was kind of fed up with the Chiefs coverage, actually the NFL coverage of this budding relationship last year. And 'Can she do it?' Is there anything about that? No, she can't. “It was a good business decision for the NFL, but I felt like it outweighed the game, and I think that's what bothered me,” she said Thursday. .

“I was a little jealous of the fact that they were getting so much attention, and all of a sudden the football game became a sideshow. So, yeah, maybe jealousy got the best of me.”
Kelly admitted to being a longtime Swift fan, adding that she has always admired how “positive” her music is. Kelly reflected on her previous comments and said they stemmed from her own “jealousy issues.”
“Why did I feel that way? Or why did I feel that way? And really, I was like, 'Why did I feel that way?' And I'm watching my husband do his job and the players who play in the league do their job. Suddenly, they were like a sideshow. Where did that come from?”

In hindsight, Kelly admires the NFL's focus on Swift and its effect on drawing a wider audience, something her daughters could relate to.
