Phoenix – Arizona Republican Senate candidate Kari Lake told Fox News Digital that illegal immigration is disproportionately hurting the state's residents, creating a “double whammy,” and that the state's Republican Party won in November. He claimed that it would lead to victory.
“I think most Americans think they've pushed us over the edge, over a cliff,” Lake told Fox News Digital about the Biden-Harris administration's policies. “And we're hoping that we can get this back in November, and that's our plan. But our polls show that the economy is really impacting everyone. Borders affect everyone.”
Lake explained to FOX News Digital that the current administration's border policies unfairly hurt Arizona, especially when it comes to housing costs.
“It's basic supply and demand,” Lake said. “We're going to have 21 million people coming in. Even if we hire the 10 million people that Joe Biden and Kamala are estimating, they're going to have to live somewhere. They're not going to live in houses or apartments or hotels. And these are displacing housing.''Because right now, as we all know, the supply of housing is very limited, and over the past 20 years we have not been able to build enough houses and apartments to meet demand.'' Because it wasn't built. So all of a sudden we added 21 million people and we had a supply and demand problem. There was a lack of supply and a high demand. ”

Lake went on to say, “The people who are coming into our country illegally, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are bringing us hand in hand and saying, “Yes, please come in, and we will provide housing for you.'' We know what we're saying is, we'll give you federally subsidized housing. You and I will pay for it, and we'll give you a month to pay for your food. They give thousands of dollars worth of ID cards, Americans barely have enough to live on, so they can get these jobs for less than their going rate because expenses have gone up. This is a double whammy that deprives Americans of their wages and hourly wages and depresses and depresses them, with a particularly severe impact on Arizona.
Lake pointed to data showing Phoenix was at one point the hardest-hit city in the country when it came to inflation.
“I talk to more Arizonans than anyone in the nation,” Lake told Fox News Digital. “I think I have a better relationship with the people of Arizona than anyone in this country, but they're struggling. You know, it's really hard to see families and retirees and retirees. “Arizona used to be a cheap state.'' Now that's not the case, Kari, I've never had to go to a food bank in my life. In fact, I used to donate to food banks. People in this state are incredibly hard-working people who can't even pay their bills. ”

“They don't deserve this and they don't want to ask for benefits, but they're working harder than ever before. Some of them are working two jobs and there aren't enough hours in the day. They can't do it.'' They haven't worked as hard as they are now, and they still can't make a living, so it's very sad for the people, and I love the people of the state very much. i am sad. ”
Lake is running for Senate against the Democratic Party. Rep. Ruben Gallego, who she claims is responsible for supporting Harris-Biden's immigration and inflation record, told Fox News Digital that she believes Republicans will be successful in November as a result of these policies. .

“It seems to me that all the major issues we face as a country are somehow channeled directly through Arizona, and this is why I feel very comfortable that we're going to win this. Because , because, first of all, we're registering voters, “left to right,'' Lake said.
“People are saying, yeah, we're going to vote, we're going to be Republicans. We're calling out people who have never voted in an election.'' We call people who have probably skipped the last four or five elections low propensity voters, and we ask, “Are you going to vote?'' . I'm definitely going to vote, I'm having a hard time right now, but this is the first of many elections I've voted in. ”But if we don't get this right as a free America, this is going to be really important. ”
