Cameras captured the moment LeBron James met the woman who saved his son's life.
In the summer of 2023, Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest while training with several teammates at the University of Southern California.
James made a full recovery and played one season in Southern California before being drafted by his father, the Los Angeles Lakers, over the summer.

LeBron introduced Erin, the woman who performed CPR on Bronny, to LeBron's mother, who thanked Erin.
“It's literally a lifesaver,” James told Erin.
“Shout out to the guys above. The coaching staff, the training staff, everyone in that program. It's because of them that Bronny is alive and smiling and growing and doing what a 19-year-old is supposed to do. It's about making their dreams come true,'' James said on camera as part of Netflix's “Starting 5'' series.
“Bronny is the first person in my family to go to college. …And watching my son play the game he loves at the college level reminds me of what he was like when he was younger. You look at the position you're in and you think, “Wow, things could have been much worse for our family.''

LeBron James takes exception to Lakers preseason to move to Milwaukee: “Please explain why''
James hinted that all Bronny cares about is when he can get back on the floor.
“Kids are crazy. When they love something and want something, that's all that matters to them. As a parent, you're like, 'You had cardiac arrest.' In his mind, it's like, “Can I play ball again or not? And if the answer is yes, when can I play ball again?” I love it,” James said.
LeBron and Bronny shared the court in a preseason game Monday night, marking the first time the father-son duo not only played in the NBA at the same time, but also became teammates. They played together for about four minutes in the second quarter.
“This is so great for both of us, especially for our families,” LeBron said. “It's definitely a moment I'll never forget.”
