George Pickens is currently a member of the Dallas Cowboys after trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers became official on Thursday.
The 24-year-old polarizing receiver spoke with reporters on a conference call Thursday and said he learned about the deal via social media.
NFL fans were using Pickens' old NFL draft reaction to share the news.

“I knew when everyone else found out,” Pickens said via CBS Sports. “I'm great. I like mojo here. I like stolen goods. There are a lot of new players I've met. They certainly feel they're doing good.”
The Pickens added that they did not request a deal in Pittsburgh despite rumors during the offseason. Steelers fans began speculating when the Pickens stopped following the team on Instagram.

“This game is just as business as soccer,” Pickens said. “It's like my control. I'm happy to be here in Dallas and continue the culture of victory they have.”
The Pickens have undoubtedly been Pittsburgh's best reception option for the past three seasons, but manager Mike Tomlin has publicly called out Pickens after provoking and carrying a sportsman-like penalty. The Pickens also began a discussion with fans in the stands.
“You just have to grow up, man,” Tomlin said last season. “It's an emotional game. The games in these divisions are big. He has a target on his back because he's George. He understands that, but he has to grow. He has to grow in a hurry.”
Tomlin made these comments after the Steelers 44-38 won the road in week 13, and after the Pickens evaluated the penalties for provocative, sportsman-like behavior.

Pickens understands his past actions, but he has been criticised, but he is ready for the next chapter of his career.
“I feel like everyone in the world is committed to growing up to improving their own self,” he said. For me, growth is setting a great direction for me to come to the Cowboys. ”
