The Duke Blue Devils appear to be returning to the NCAA Tournament court to win the star Cooper Flag after suffering an ankle injury in the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament.
The presence of flags on the Blue Devils' floor is something experts and fans would love to see in the insanity of March, but head coach John Shayer and his medical staff had to walk because of his illness.
For Flag himself, he is expected to become a top NBA draft pick. Many believe he will be the first overall later this year, and could affect his professional basketball start, which could result in further injuries.

But as former Blue Devils guard Seth Curry said, people don't go to Duke and don't want to play for the national title.
Curry spoke to Fox News Digital about Flagg. Flag knows he's preparing to return to the court with his teammates for a hopeful national championship run.
“He came to Duke and honestly, he has a reason to come to college when he didn't really need to do it in the first place,” Curry said, also discussing Bush's partnership with Beans and how he cooks for March Madness. “You're going there to play in the ACC tournament. You're going there to play in the madness of March and this is his time.”
The Dukestar Cooper Flag is predicted to be no. One pick in the NBA Draft, surprising entry to the future
Flagg has not denied that he is a prototype for the current NBA star. He's a big man with the skills to score, pass and defend someone on the court.
Curry, who was at Charlotte Hornets training camp at the Duke facility prior to the start of the 2024-25 NBA season, was impressed to see Flag with his Duke teammates.
“I love everything I see from him,” Curry explained. “First of all, we did training camp at Duke so we could see him practice a few times, just looking at his competitiveness, it's as good as you get, especially from a young man.
“At his age, he's wise beyond his age, and obviously his skill set is unrealistic. He can do it all. So, I think he, like you said, will have a great career.”

However, NBA time will soon come. Curry understands that they want to get ahead of the pros and mark them there. But as he said, to go to Duke, there is a championship pedigree, and every player wearing black and blue threads wants to etch their names in the program's large history books.
Although Flaggg appears to have that mindset as Scheyer said the star student came to him and asked him to play in the ACC Championship Game, the team wanted to let him rest with the NCAA tournament in mind.
“He's going to be fine in the NBA. It's more than setting himself for the future,” Curry said. “That's those experiences and why you go to college, specifically you go play for Duke. This is why you do that. This is his opportunity to leave his legacy on that campus and its program.
“Some of my memories of enjoying tournament runs with my teammates, I can't put a price tag on it. He wants to play.”
Fans will check on Friday if Flag is collaborating. The Blue Devils will win Mount St. Mary's, who defeated American College in the “first four” games to advance to the first round of the tournament.

Cook with bush beans
Curry is obliged to worry with the Hornets, but when the tournament rolls, he is always trapped in the insanity of March. That means whipping something good in the kitchen, which he calls “curry caviar.”
Using bush beans, Curry explained that Callie Rivers, the daughter of legendary NBA coach Doc Rivers, his wife, former professional volleyball player Curry Rivers, introduced him to snacks that became a family staple during this period.
“To be honest, it's something we make every year at this house. It's healthy. You can have snacks all week since you made it. It's first class,” Curry said.

This year, Bush has been making “curry caviar” and more family recipes during the March madness with its “Your Fam on a Can” campaign, which began on March 19th.
With a surname in the front and a recipe card in the back, the delicious delight of curry and more family recipes can shine, like the court players of this tournament season.
