It's a march. This means that madness continues on the college basketball court.
Sometimes the insanity is due to some brutal blunt instruments that cause pain.
That happened in the men's basketball tournament final at the Mid Eastern Athletic Conference on Saturday as South Carolina's Caleb McCarty appeared to be playing a game-saving game when he stole an inbound pass and tied the game with Norfolk State at 65.

But McCarty's heroic moment quickly turned sour when he seemed unsure of what the score was at the next inbound play.
With 10.6 seconds left, McCarty chased the Christian Ingles of Norfolk and purposely fouled him. McCarty's teammate was in shock, and Engs went to the free throw line to get two free shots and throw his arms into the air to get the lead.
South Carolina had another chance in the bucket to fix the false foul, but Ings ended up hitting only one of those two free throws.
However, the final shot at the buzzer missed, and Norfolk celebrated his trip to the NCAA Tournament as MEAC champions. Meanwhile, South Carolina could not have been more heartbreaking.

McCarty finished the game with four points and two rebounds, playing from the Bulldogs' bench for 19 minutes.
The Bulldogs also increased 34-25 at halftime, but were ahead of 41-31 in the second half as the Spartans made a comeback.
South Carolina's Wilson Dubinski was the main scorer with 24 points in the game, talliing two rebounds and three assists.
