The Michigan Wolverines pulled off a huge upset on the road Saturday, defeating Ohio State and continuing their dominance in the recent rivalry.
Despite the win, the University of Michigan made significant coaching changes.
On Tuesday, Wolverines offensive coordinator Kirk Campbell was fired by head coach Sherrone Moore.
The university issued a statement saying Moore would conduct a national search to find Campbell's replacement.

“After a thorough evaluation of our offense, we have made the decision to relieve Kirk Campbell of his duties and move in a different direction,” Moore said in a statement. “This was a decision that we felt was in the best interest of our football program. I would like to thank Kirk for his hard work and dedication to the university, Michigan football, and our student-athletes. I wish him well in his future coaching endeavors.” “I'm here.” ”
Tight ends coach Steve Casula will serve as interim offensive coordinator for the remainder of the season, according to a statement.

The Wolverines' offense struggled after winning the national championship and the departure of Jim Harbaugh as head coach. Moore was Harbaugh's offensive coordinator.
The University of Michigan lost key offensive players, including quarterback JJ McCarthy, running back Blake Collum and receiver Roman Wilson. However, the team finished 12 games with 7 wins and 5 losses.

The Wolverines are near the bottom of the NCAA in yards per game, ranking 128th out of 134 FBS schools. They also rank 125th in first downs and 111th in points scored per game.
The Wolverines won Saturday against an Ohio State defense that is one of the best in the country, scoring just one touchdown.
Campbell rose through the ranks with the Wolverines and was named the team's quarterbacks coach during the 2023 national championship. After Harbaugh joined the Los Angeles Chargers and Moore became head coach, Campbell was quickly promoted again, but it only lasted one season.
