Michigan has long been a cornerstone of the American election landscape, and its importance is once again undeniable as Election Day approaches.
In 1960, John F. Kennedy narrowly won the state by about 67,000 votes, contributing to his overall victory. Despite being President Gerald Ford's home state in 1976, Jimmy Carter played a vital role in Michigan's victory, winning the state with 51.05% of the vote. .
In 2016, Donald Trump won Michigan by just 10,704 votes, helping secure his victory in the electoral college. Each of these elections highlights Michigan's importance as a battleground state.

That's all for today. There's a good chance the fate of the White House will be decided once again in Michigan. With so much at stake, America First Works (AFW) is making Michigan a top priority in our mission to ensure America First policies prevail.

This state is not just a part of an electoral map, it is a battleground within a battleground.
AFW has been in full swing in Michigan since June and is still going strong. After analyzing 3,100 counties across the country, Michigan emerged as one of the most critical to our efforts, with Wayne, Macomb, Oakland, and Kent at the forefront. Simply put, elections are won or lost in this state by these communities, and we are doing everything we can to ensure victory for President Trump and Sen. Mike Rogers.
AFW has always believed that change happens in person, neighbor to neighbor, and our strategy reflects that. We deployed a formidable field team of over 400 paid recruiters who knocked on an astonishing 1.45 million doors across the state.

In these interactions, we do more than just convey a message; we build relationships, listen to concerns, and inspire hope. Michigan voters are more than just numbers on a spreadsheet. These are families who have been hit hard by the current administration's reckless policies, and they deserve better.
Our support efforts extend to our immediate surroundings. We've followed up on over 1.2 million text messages, ensuring the conversation doesn't stop after the first knock. why? Because we understand that this election cannot be won with a single touchpoint. It requires continuous and meaningful efforts.
The key for us was to make sure that no voter was left alone, that no concern was ignored, and that Michiganders understand that this election is about their future: their families, their jobs, their safety. It was to remind me.
But our efforts go beyond numbers. AFW is committed to empowering communities by ensuring local leaders have a platform to share their stories and inspire action. Take Dearborn, for example. The city is home to the country's largest Arab-American community and is a microcosm of what's at stake.

Abdulaziz, the nephew of a local restaurant owner, knocked on thousands of doors on behalf of AFW. He is one of more than 20 Arabian men and women knocking on the door.
Young women knocked on doors to specifically speak with other young women on behalf of the America First agenda. Like many others in the community, they understand that the current administration is having a devastating impact on their lives.
Under Kamala Harris' so-called leadership, families like Abdulaziz have seen their communities suffer. Her radical policies regarding gender ideology have torn families apart, especially in Michigan, where cultural and religious values are important.

Harris' support for woke education initiatives has caused confusion and frustration among parents. At the same time, her flexible stance on foreign policy leaves voters deeply concerned about America's position on the world stage, particularly in the Middle East. Michigan's Arab American community knows firsthand how weak Harris' leadership is a threat to global stability, and we will not stand by and watch this situation continue.
In Michigan, the economy is a top concern for every voter we speak to, including Black Americans, suburban mothers, and blue-collar workers. Rising costs, job losses and runaway inflation are weighing them down.
Under the Biden-Harris administration, household debt has skyrocketed, grocery bills have become untenable, and once-thriving small businesses have been forced to close. These voters know that Kamala Harris' economic policies, or what we call “Kamalanomics,” are destroying their way of life.

It's clear that Michigan voters understand the risks of this election. They have seen firsthand what is happening in their communities: increased crime, economic despair, and a lack of leadership. They know their vote could be the difference between four more years of radical policies or a return to common sense governance.
AFW is proud to stand with the people of Michigan in their fight to take back the White House. This election is about the future of our country, and Michigan is critical to that future. It's not just flipping a few counties. It's about ensuring economic opportunity, national security, and a legacy for generations to come built on America First.
