House Speaker Mike Johnson is touring battleground states in the final weeks of the election as Republicans struggle to maintain their slim House majority.
Johnson's American Revival Tour will stop in Michigan this weekend, with additional events planned in Ohio, Pennsylvania and other states.
Johnson's political team told Fox News Digital that the purpose was to “highlight the House Republican agenda for the upcoming Congress.”

All three states are also seen as key to victory for former President Donald Trump's 2024 campaign. It's no wonder they lined up, given Mr. Johnson's efforts to unite the Republican Party behind the former president.
A video previewing the tour, previewed by Fox News Digital, features Johnson vowing, “We'll win the White House, we'll win the Senate, we'll take back the House of Representatives.”
“We will secure our borders, open our energy sector, protect rights, support working families and pursue peace through strength,” Johnson said in the video. “Everything is at stake. We can restore these foundations and truly bring about the 'Resurrection of America.'”
Johnson has appeared with Republican incumbents and candidates across the country, and has also been active in fundraising. It was a baptism of fire for a previously little-known policy enthusiast who burst onto the national stage after the ouster of former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy. -California, about 1 year ago.

It looks like his efforts so far are paying off. Earlier this week, it was announced that Johnson had raised $27.5 million between July and September, which his team said was “the most raised by a Republican House speaker in the third quarter of a presidential election year.” That's what it means.
Of that, just over $8 million went to individual Republican candidates.
That money will likely be badly needed as groups aligned with House Republicans continue to lag behind Democratic groups.

In August, DCCC raised $22.3 million, while NRCC raised $9.7 million. House Democrats ended the period with more cash than Republicans. It was $87 million versus $70.7 million.

Meanwhile, Republican lawmakers in close races, such as Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R-Iowa) and Rep. Ken Calvert (R-Calif.), are financially underfunded as of the latest fundraising quarter. He is lagging behind his Democratic challenger.
