Saturday's college football game featured just one matchup between teams ranked in the AP Top 25. The 9th ranked Missouri Tigers traveled to Kyle Field to take on the 25th ranked Texas A&M Aggies.
While Missouri entered the game as the favorite, the Aggies won 41-10.
Texas A&M running back Le'Veon Moss was asked if he thought the Aggies shocked a top-10 opponent.
“Absolutely,” he said with a laugh. “I thought they were here to have their cake and eat it too. It's easy.'' Moss rushed for a career-high 138 yards and three touchdowns in the win.

Texas A&M has won five straight games after losing the opening game to Notre Dame.
“We're keeping growth in mind. … We're trying to get better every day,” Texas A&M first-year coach Mike Elko said. “Even though we couldn't get the job done at Notre Dame, we weren't daunted.”

Texas A&M led 24-0 at halftime and extended its lead when Moss ran 75 yards for a touchdown on the first play of the third quarter. He burst through a hole in the line, evaded one tackle and then evaded the defense to score his second goal of the day.
“We just wanted to come out and keep their necks shut,” Moss said. “that's it.”

Brady Cook threw for 186 yards and a touchdown for the University of Missouri, which was playing its first road game of the season. Missouri coach Eliah Drinkwitz made an opening statement in the postgame press conference, taking responsibility for his team's performance and apologizing to the fans.
“My football team just underperformed, and it started with me. And I apologize to the fans. It's my responsibility to make sure we get better. The start of the first half… we couldn't make a third down. We didn't have it and we made mistakes.'' We were able to stop them on third down…which ended up being the difference in the game.
“We weren't competitive and that's not Mizzou football.”
Aggies quarterback Connor Weigman threw for 276 yards and Amari Daniels added two scores in his return from missing three games with a shoulder injury.

Texas A&M took a 10-0 lead when Missouri's Luther Burden III appeared to score on a 75-yard reception. However, the call was reversed as the Tigers were flagged for an illegal receiver downfield.

Missouri State's only touchdown came on a 59-yard pass from Cook to Theo Weese with about five minutes left in the third, cutting the lead to 34-7.
Texas A&M will have a bye next Saturday before returning to action against Mississippi State on Oct. 19. Missouri will look to bounce back next week when it hosts Massachusetts.
