A NASCAR driver helps victims of Hurricane Helen in North Carolina.
Greg Biffle has posted numerous photos and videos of the storm's destruction.
The 54-year-old has used his private helicopter to deliver supplies and internet services to people in need. He even found a family left behind due to using a mirror against the sun during a flight.

The effort caught the attention of ESPN analyst Marty Smith, who said Biffle deserved the highest honor for an American citizen.
“Former NASCAR driver Greg Biffle is recognized for his continued and unrelenting heroic efforts in Western North Carolina, using helicopters and working with others to save lives. He deserves a medal. Visit @gbiffle to see his amazing efforts. Thank you, Greg,” Smith posted on X.
Biffle, who provides Starlink services to residents in western North Carolina, recalled how the mirror saved a stranded family.

“The only way we were able to find a man stranded on a mountain at the bottom of a steep ravine. It took six attempts to land due to difficulties, but we arrived. We got him a chainsaw, an EpiPen, and some insulin. , I prepared chicken feed, powdered milk, gasoline, and 2-stroke oil.'' I also ate a Harris Teeter sandwich before leaving,'' Biffle posted.

The storm made landfall in the United States on Thursday, impacting the sports world. Two games between the Atlanta Braves and New York Mets were postponed to Monday's doubleheader, which ultimately decided the teams' postseason fate.
The Denver Broncos, who were staying at the Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia for a series of games on the East Coast, practiced on the indoor tennis courts.
Saturday's Appalachian State vs. Liberty football game was also canceled, while the East Tennessee football team slept on a bus Friday night after flooding canceled travel.

Several NFL team owners have also donated.
FOX Corporation also launched a donation drive to the American Red Cross' Hurricane Helen relief efforts, encouraging viewers to help those affected by the deadly storm.
