On-court wrestling match during Wednesday night between the Houston Rockets and the Phoenix Suns brought two drains and one bloody player.
Houston's Stephen Adams and Phoenix's Mason Plumley were both given double skills and were ejected later in the second quarter, with physical play under the net making the players wrestling each other on the ground.

“We were just tied up,” Plumley said of the post-match incident. “He went to the board and was doing what he was doing, so he just met him physically, yeah, you all saw it.”

With about three minutes left in half, both NBA players were swinging for the rebound when Adams and Plumlee locked their arms inside. The Jostring continued, and it appeared that Adams lifted Plumley off the court to the ground.
The brawl continued to the ground, with both players separated by a mix of coaches, teammates and staff.
“Look, everyone will see the clips that happened, but like he goes by every rebound, he does it whether it's dirty or not,” Plumley added. “I insisted that I just hit him on the glass because I felt they were more physical than us.”

Plumlee left the court with a bleeding cut above her brow, but he said it was “nothing major.”
Houston coach Ime Udoka said he was surprised by the decision to drain both players.
“It looked like they'd thrown each other away,” he said. “They both fell, and they went to a bit of a wrestling match, whatever, and I didn't think they would be kicked out for that.”

Suns coach Mike Budenholzer seems to have agreed.
“Only two guys are intertwined,” he said. “Both physical. Both candidates.”
Houston's Jalen Green scored 29 points, leading the Rockets to a 111-104 victory over the Phoenix, extending the team's winning streak to four.
