He pointed to Simmons, a three-time All-star whose career was malfunctioning due to injuries. He averaged from an average of 14.3 points per game with the Philadelphia 76ers to under 7 points per game with Brooklyn Net and now with the Clippers. It all makes over $200 million in his career, with an average salary of around $35.4 million a year.

The current NBA product has discovered a lot of criticism over the last few years. Fans responded by turning off the game as more teams earned 3-pointers and stars who weren't playing the entire 82-game schedule.
