The NBA has decided on the punishment for players involved in the brawl during Sunday's game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Detroit Pistons.
Detroit Center's Isaiah Stewart received a two-game suspension for his role in the brawl, with the Pistons and four other players from the Timberwolves pulling out a one-game suspension, the league announced Tuesday.
According to the NBA, Stewart's multi-game suspension has arisen in part in “his recurring history of sportsman-like behavior.”

In addition to Stewart, all these players were kicked out of Sunday's game. Authorities also threw Pistons head coach JB Bickerstaff and T'Wolves assistant Pablo Prisioni from the contest.

“Obviously things have gone too far,” Vickerstaff said after the match. “But what you see is the people who are looking for each other, the people who are trying to protect each other, the people who have each other’s backs.
