New York sports fans can be brutal to their teams, especially in the postseason.
New York sports radio legend Mike Franchia gave yet another example after the New York Knicks lost to the Detroit Pistons in Game 2 of the first round that equalized the NBA playoff series.
The franchise was dropped off at the Knicks during Monday's Bet Rivers podcast.

“The four stagnant guys watching one guy play basketball aren't offensive. I don't care what your name is,” the franchise said.
“And Branson is not Michael Jordan.”
Branson has always been the focus of the Knicks' offense, but much of the social media felt it was outdated in a 100-94 defeat at Madison Square Garden.

One of Branson's main tactics when he has the ball is trying to attract a foul as he is a solid free throw shooter. He knocked nine of the 11 shots on Monday night.
However, the franchise doesn't like that style of basketball.
“Is Branson on the ground multiple times in a night? Is he 32? It's not an attractive basketball. It's all about Branson. Why do you think the other teams are floping? I think he's on the ground throughout the game.
Of course, that's not yet a disastrous situation for New York. This series is only two games into the top 7 sets.

However, the franchise is worried about a potential future series. Perhaps if they win a first round series, they are worried about the NBA champion Boston Celtics, alongside New York in the second round, and perhaps the future series.
“Four guys are standing looking at Branson. You will never beat a good team. You will never beat the Celtics,” the franchia said.
