Biden-Hur Audio Fuel White House story scrutiny
RealClearPolitics co-founder Tom Bevan joins Fox & Friends Weekend to discuss the newly released audio of Biden-Hur and comments from former management officials who claim to be unaware of President Biden's mental decline.
Former President Joe Biden assaulted special adviser Robert Huar over a report describing longtime lawmakers as “a sympathetic and well-meaning elderly person.”
Part of Her report was the suggestion that most angry Biden could not remember when the then president died, his son Beau. However, the new audio obtained by Axios will shed light on Biden's expiration of memory.
In February 2024, Biden, some well-known Democrats, and the character of the media attacked Hart. At a press conference on Herr's report, Biden said, “There is some kind of attention to language in the report regarding my memories of events, and there are even mentions that I don't remember when my son died.

Then-President Kamala Harris denounced Harri in February 2024, saying his report was “free, inaccurate and inappropriate.” She also suggested that it was “clearly politically motivated.” Harris recalls Biden's suspicions of keenness at the time, noting that an interview with Har was held on October 8, 2023, one day after Hamas' attacks on Israel. Harris said she was “at almost every meeting” with Biden, and he was “before and above it.”
Jerry Nadler, DN.Y., and Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash. burned Hart in March 2024 when he testified on Capitol Hill. Then repeat. Adam Schiff (D-Calif) also criticized the special advisor, suggesting that he knew that Biden's explanation would “fire a political fire.”

Former Obama adviser David Axelrod also criticized the report, calling it “a special advisor Shiv who thrusts into the Biden reelection campaign,” according to CNN.
On Friday, Axios released a bomb report containing audio recordings from Biden's interview with HuR. The audio includes a long pause that struggled to remember the dates of several major events, including Biden's first term, his son's death, or his retirement as vice president.

Since his report was released, HuR has set two important moments besides the report on Friday. The first was when his interview transcript was released in March 2024. At the time, the White House refused to release audio, citing the horrors of AI deepfakes. Hart appeared to have received further evidence when Biden made a tragic argument against Trump at the time in June 2024. Within a month of debate, Biden had withdrawn from the presidential race in 2024 and supported Harris.
