The Jets' final drive had four penalties, including an offset foul. Bills cornerback Taron Johnson tried to target Mike Williams and Aaron Rodgers ended up throwing an interception.

Penalties like this crushed both teams and caught the attention of the NFL world. During the match, each team was given 11 penalties. The Bills had 94 yards in 11 games and the Jets had 110 yards with 11 penalties.
At the end of the day, Josh Allen ran for a first down on the final drive. Buffalo played the rest of the time kneeling the ball, and the game ended.
The Bills led 20-17 at halftime, but each team scored just three points in the final two quarters.

Allen completed 19 of 25 for 215 passing yards and two touchdown passes (one to Dawson Knox and the other to Mack Hollins). He ran for 18 yards and scored a touchdown on the ground.
Bills running back Ray Davis led the team with 97 yards on 20 carries. He also had three catches for 55 yards. Knox and Hollins' touchdown catches were the only receptions of the game.
Rodgers kept the Jets in the game with an improbable Hail Mary touchdown pass just before halftime. However, that excitement disappeared in the second half.

He completed 23 of 35 for 294 passing yards and completed touchdown passes to Allen Lazard and Garrett Wilson. Each wide receiver had over 100 yards receiving.
Lazard had six catches for 114 yards and Wilson had eight catches for 107 yards.
New York was looking for a win after Robert Saleh was fired and may have had the upper hand in the game, but kicker Greg Zuerlein missed two field goals.
