Colorado Football head coach and NFL Hall of Fame Deion Sanders sent out a mysterious X-Post on Wednesday.
Sanders' post comes days after his son Chedur shockedly fell on his 144th pick in the NFL Draft, one of the most unprecedented slides in recent history. However, his posts did not directly address the topic.
“I can do better, I know better, I've been taught better, I've seen better, and I've definitely got better! I'm grateful to do what I'm blessing about, and I don't take it for granted. The Lord will create a pure heart within me and update the righteous spirit within me.”

Sanders' posts reflect the consistent Christian themes that families have oozed through the situation.
Chedur himself thanked God several times for his social media posts from Thursday to Saturday. This included two X posts before and after the Browns were selected.
Deion Sanders Jr. made five X posts cited biblical poems dating back to Thursday, and frequently re-shared them when his brother fell into the draft.
Meanwhile, his father turned to religion in the previous difficult chapters of his life.
Deion said he devoted himself to Christianity in 1998 shortly after his first divorce from his ex-wife Carolyn Chambers. Sanders revealed his experience during an interview with Bear Grylls in November 2023.

“That was when I went through my first divorce, where I knew the only thing I really loved was my two children. Now they've left.
“I drove this car from the side of the highway, and at the bottom I thought it had just turned over and it hadn't been turned over. And I was still there. Then I raised my hand and came to the Lord and said, “I can't do it anymore. I can't do it anymore. You gave up on me.
Last year, Sanders praised God at an introductory press conference commemorating his position as UC's new head.
“Of all of the world, God chose me,” Sanders said. “For that reason, I appreciate him. For that reason, I love him. For that reason, I expand him. For that reason, I praise him. For that reason, I praise him.
Sanders maintains his dedication to the faith of his family, even amidst the turbulence from external sources.
He fired from the freedom of the anti-religious group, Religious Foundation (FFRF) over the use of Colorado team chaplains this past season. Sanders prayed to Pastor Dewey Smith on the football team after his victory against Baylor University on September 22nd.

The FFRF has released a fierce four-page letter denounced Sanders, claiming that he viewed prayer as “unconstitutional religious activity” as he leads a soccer team at a public university.
When Sanders became Colorado's head coach in 2023, the FFRF raised concerns about his previous open faith display with his team. This gave him additional training on the boundaries of religious expression in public institutions. In a statement, the university revealed that Sanders had been trained in non-discrimination policies and establishment clause requirements after employment.
But that hasn't changed him.
