In addition to that, ESPN reports that Steelers and Metcalf have agreed to a five-year, $150 million contract to maintain the team for a long time.
The Steelers already have one of the best deepball threats in the game. George Pickens is in the wide receiver room and he is now paired with Metcalf, who can now be the same threat anywhere in Gridiron.
Metcalf was looking for a new contract this offseason as he was in the final year of his three-year, $72 million contract with Seattle.

Last week, Metcalf called for the Seahawks to trade after having a conversation with the franchise who chose him in the second round of 2019 about his future. GM John Schneider called many teams after the news came out, but he pointed out that he would make the team the best and sign a contract for Metcalf, the future.
Schneider has been busy revamping the Seahawks' depth chart this offseason, with veteran wide receivers Tyler Rockett, defensive tackle dremont Jones, Roy Robertson Harris, safety Rayshaun Jenkins and offensive tackle George Fant

This is a young work that includes a new look Seahawks team with some excellent draft capital, as well as building running backs Kenneth Walker III and Zack Char bonnet, as well as wide receiver Jackson Smith Nigba.
For the Steelers, their next big acquisition will be the quarterback for the 2025 campaign.
Last season, it was a time split between Justin Fields and Russell Wilson, the latter rehabilitating from injury and working after a healthy job. Coach Mike Tomlin again led his team to the playoff berth despite mediocre offensive production, but it didn't last long on the round wildcard exit.
The 27-year-old Metcalf has been locked up for years to come, and along with other solid talents in attack, the Steelers hope to lock down the traffic lights soon. Wilson and Fields are available as well as other free agent options such as Sam Darnold, Jaymis Winston and Aaron Rodgers, which are scheduled to be released by the Jets on March 12th, when a new league year begins.
