Jeff Ulbric's second stint with the Atlanta Falcons got off to a rough start.
His son, Jax Ulbrich, sparked controversy after retrieving the Sheduer Sanders phone number from his father's computer at one point before last week's NFL Draft.
Jax then dialed the number and called out a prank on Sanders during the draft.

On Wednesday, the NFL fined the Falcon $250,000. Ulbric, the Falcons defensive coordinator, was issued a $100,000 fine. Ulbric admitted that the past few days had been “difficult” on an individual level, but he took full responsibility for not being able to secure numbers.
Some NFL Draft outlooks fall victim to a prank call unrelated to Shedeur Sanders Prank: Report
“It was something I brought to myself and my son brought myself to bring this to my chin, and we absolutely did it and are fully responsible for doing it.

Ulbric said he didn't know his son was responsible for the prank call until after the draft, but when he learned of the development he said he was “shocked.” The Falcons assistant coach then made the team aware of the situation and said that Shedou and his father, Deon Sanders, were the legendary former Atlanta Falcons star, but when he contacted him he said he was “surprisingly elegant.”

“I'm clearly happy and not shocked,” Ulbric told reporters. “So I made the Falcons realize the situation, and our next course of action was to try and acquire Sanders' family.
The NFL said the punishment was due to a failure to “prevent disclosure of confidential information distributed to clubs prior to the NFL draft.”
