Three-inning Pro Bowl tight end Mark Andrews took responsibility for the Baltimore Ravens' playoff run after a sudden, unbearable end. Andrews failed to secure a short pass from Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson in an attempt to convert two points later in the fourth quarter.
Andrews initially used social media to deal with the costly drop, saying he “absolutely destroyed what happened.” But this week he first spoke to the media about the infamous moment.

Andrews owned again for a failure at the moment in question, but he also revealed that he had problems with his gloves during the game.
“I just happened because I 'Are I going to take it off? I wouldn't?' It was so fast and so fast,” Andrews said. “And at the end of the day, I should have still caught the ball. I should have still made that play.”
Former NFL player Chris Sims says Lamar Jackson's pass on a two-point try to Mark Andrews was “not accurate”
“It's a sport, guys – I know the type of player I can do, what I can do and what it is. It was tough. (It's not the best game, I'm looking forward to red.”

The completed catch would have tied the divisional round game with a fierce battle at 27. The Ravens were instead forced to try an onside kick that was recovered by the Buffalo bill. A handoff by quarterback Josh Allen and several knees punched Bills tickets for the AFC Championship Game.

Jackson finished a 27-25 division round loss with a touchdown pass against one interception. The Ravens lost two fumbles, one of which was charged by Jackson. Andrews also fumbled the ball in the fourth quarter.
