Less than two weeks later, Abdul Carter will hear NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announce his name from the Green Bay draft stage.
The previous Pennsylvania standout is projected to be selected in the top five in next Thursday's NFL Draft.
The quarterback once again pulled out the Lion's attention-catching share in the months and weeks leading up to the draft, but Carter is considered one of the best prospects in this year's class.
In a recent interview with SiriusXM NFL Radio, Carter revealed what he likes the NFL player he likes the most.

Carter initially nodded to fellow Pennsylvania alumni and Pass Rushmika Parsons.
“Clearly Mika Parsons,” Carter responded when asked to compare his game to an NFL player. “I went to Pennsylvania, I played, I wore No. 11. There are a lot of similarities like him.”

“And my favourite player, von Miller, shows up at his biggest moments in the way he played. He's probably my favorite player,” Carter told SiriusXM NFL Radio.
Miller spent the past few seasons with the Buffalo Bills, but he was released last month. Miller, an eight-time Pro Bowler, was released in a pay cap move by the bill. His 129 career sacks ranked 16th on the NFL's all-time best list.

Starpass Rush signed a six-year, $120 million contract during the 2022 offseason. However, that season was shortened due to an ACL injury. He suffered a season-ending injury on November 24, 2022.
Carter won 23 sacks during his three seasons with the Nittany Lions, earning the Big Ten defensive player of the year honor after a strong campaign in 2024.

Carter fought through a shoulder injury during the college football playoffs. It was also recently revealed that he is dealing with the stress response in his feet. However, it is unlikely that Carter will need to undergo surgery to address the issue, ESPN reported.
