At a post-game press conference for Chicago Sky on Tuesday night after the 94-89 defeat to Phoenix Mercury, Skystar Angel Reese had no doubts about the WNBA investigation that could not demonstrate allegations of reported hateful comments against her.
A live feed of post-match press conferences posted to the team's X account showed no leases addressing the league's Tuesday announcement that it would not demonstrate a claim.

The WNBA was investigating “hate fan comments” that allegedly occurred after Indiana Fever star Kate Rinklerk fawed Lease in the third quarter of the team's season opening game on May 17.
However, after investigating last week, the league found no sufficient evidence to verify the allegations.
“We investigated reports of racist fan behavior near the court during Chicago Sky at the Indiana Fever Game on May 17, 2025,” the league said in a statement Tuesday. “We have not demonstrated that, including information collected so far, including related fans, teams, arena staff and other audio and video reviews of the game.
“The WNBA is committed to promoting a safe and inclusive environment for everyone and remains vigilant about enforcing a fan code of conduct.”

Reese was asked earlier this month whether she could provide details of the incident to the WNBA. She said, “That's not my question,” and didn't provide details on whether she did that. She also did not disclose any other details about what kind of comments were made or what prompted an investigation.
However, not long ago, he said that, in the same availability with reporters, Lease has received widespread support from the entire league due to the alleged incident.
“Obviously there's no place for that in this league,” Reese said at the time. “I think the WNBA, our team and our organization have done a great job supporting me.

Reese has previously accused Clark of racism, even claiming that he created explicit images generated by Skystar's AI and sent them to his family.
“I think really fans, fans, Iowa fans, now Indiana fans, they're just riding for her. But I respectfully admire it, but it's very disrespectful.
“On multiple occasions, people are leaving me naked. They sent it to my family. My family is like an uncle and they say, “Naked on Instagram?”
