Saturday is the last day of early voting in New Mexico, North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia and Virginia, leaving just three days until Election Day nationwide.
Here's everything you need to know to vote last minute during early voting.
North Carolina is the top swing state this cycle
The last time North Carolina voted for a Democratic president was in 2008, when Sen. Barack Obama won the state by a margin of 0.3 percentage points (14,177 votes).
In 2016, Trump won comfortably by a margin of 3.7 points, but in 2020, that margin narrowed to 1.3 points over Biden.

A Fox News poll late last month found that the two 2024 presidential candidates were separated by just one point, with Democratic candidate Vice President Harris at 49% and former President Trump at 50%. North Carolina is ranked high in the Fox News power rankings.
Competition is intensifying in the state as the population increases. Over the past ten years, North Carolina's population has increased by approximately 1.1 million people, the fourth largest increase of any state.
Much of that growth is occurring in urban and suburban areas such as solid-blue Mecklenburg and Wake counties.
The pandemic has brought an influx of more affluent urban Americans from surrounding states, as well as some college voters.
Although rural areas have experienced some population decline, they still represent a significant portion of the statewide vote and overwhelmingly vote Republican.
The major down-ballot races in the state right now are:
North Carolina 1st Congressional District: Democratic Congressman Don Davis won this open seat in the midterm elections by less than 5 points. This year, he will face military veteran Laurie Buckhout in this northeastern district, which has a high percentage of black voters. This race will determine Fox News' power rankings. North Carolina's 13th and 14th Congressional Districts: Due to redistricting, both of these seats, once based in Raleigh and Charlotte, have been moved to large, primarily suburban and rural districts. That makes him an easy target for Republicans, who are likely to flip both sides this November. The 13th District pits small businessman Frank Pearce (Democrat) against prosecutor Brad Knott (Republican), while the 14th District pits veteran and nurse Pam Gennant (D) against state Assemblyman Pam Gennant (D). Rep. Tim Moore (Republican) is opposed. West Virginia Senate: Republicans start the night strong in West Virginia. The seat is held by Sen. Joe Manchin, who decided not to run for re-election earlier this year. The senator's enduring relationship with West Virginians helped him win by 3 points in 2018, compared to former President Donald Trump's nearly 39-point victory in the last presidential election. Therefore, this is a bright red area. For Democrats to have a good fight, they needed to add Manchin to the ballot. This victory alone would give Republicans 50 seats in the Senate, one seat short of a majority. (If Trump wins the presidential election, Republicans will control the Senate even without a majority because the vice president will sever ties.) New Mexico 2nd District: New Mexico's 2nd Congressional District is It occupies most of the land area in the southwestern part of the state. It includes parts of Las Cruces and Albuquerque, but also has a significant number of local votes. In the midterm elections, Democratic Rep. Gabe Vasquez won the district by just 1,350 votes. This year, he will face former Republican Yvette Herrell for the same seat. This is a toss-up of power rankings. Virginia's 2nd Congressional District: Virginia's 2nd Congressional District is one of the hottest races in 2022 and a Republican flip. Congresswoman Jen Quiggans will now face Missy Cotter Smasall, a U.S. Navy veteran and small business entrepreneur, in a military-focused district that includes Virginia Beach. This is a power ranking lean R race. Virginia's 7th District: Abigail Spanberger's strong brand will keep the North Central 7th District in Democratic hands in 2022, but she will run for governor at the end of this term. I will surrender my seat. It will pit two Army veterans, Democrat Eugene Vindman and Republican Derrick Anderson. In the final power rankings before voting day, the race went from lean-D to a toss-up.
