The New England Patriots lost 32-16 to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday in London, their sixth straight loss.
First-year head coach Jerrod Mayo didn't mince words with the media after the game about his team's play.
“We're a soft football team overall,” Mayo said.

“What makes a tough football team? It's being able to run the ball, being able to stop the run and being able to cover kicks. We didn't do any of that today,” Mayo added.
The Patriots scored on their first two drives and took a 10-0 lead, but that was the only positive to come from the game as the Jaguars answered with four points.
The Jaguars dominated the running game on both sides of the ball. The Patriots gained 171 yards on the ground, led by Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby with 118 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries.
Bigsby said after the game that the Jaguars got what they expected from the Patriots.
“I felt like the Patriots were getting tired as we kept moving the ball,” Bigsby said.
“In film, the fourth quarter comes, the third quarter comes and they start making arm tackles. We just did what we had to do,” Bigsby added.

The Patriots had just 38 rushing yards on their own.
As for kick coverage, the Patriots allowed a 96-yard punt return for a touchdown in the second quarter.
“I saw guys out leverage, I saw guys get punted in the middle of the field, and it's always hard to cover that,” Mayo said. “He had strong legs and got better in coverage, but we weren’t disciplined in the lane.”
Mayo held a press conference Monday to address comments he made Sunday about being a “soft football team.”
“We're playing soft at the moment. By playing soft, I mean we can stop the run, we can run the ball and we can cover kicks, and we weren't able to do that.” Mayo said.

“That being said, do you think we have the talent to turn this ship around? 100 percent. But that comes through hard work and daily improvement,” Mayo continued.
The Patriots are 1-6, and their current six-game losing streak is their longest since 1993.
The Patriots will look to end their losing streak on Sunday against the reeling New York Jets, who have lost four straight.
