Drake Maye finishes his rookie season in the ring.
The 22-year-old quarterback announced on his Instagram page that he is engaged to his current fiancée, Anne Hudson.
“I love spending my life with you. I can't wait to marry you,” May wrote in the post.

The couple was alone on the beach by the water, carrying umbrellas, roses, and blankets to celebrate the occasion.
They both attended the University of North Carolina and celebrated their nine-year anniversary in October of this year.
The New England Patriots took Maye with the third overall pick, and although he struggled early on, Maye seemed to get much better as he continued to thrive on the gridiron.
He initially started the season as a backup to Jacoby Brissett, but became the starter in Week 6, compiling 2,276 passing yards and a 66.6 completion percentage in 12 starts. He threw 15 touchdowns against 10 interceptions and also gained 421 yards and rushed for two scores.

Maye isn't the only AFC East quarterback to get engaged recently.

This engagement will certainly be a nice break from the recent drama in Patsland. After New England's final game of the season, the team fired first-year head coach Jerod Mayo, a move heavily criticized by former Patriots.
But earlier this week they made an unsurprising move and hired Mike Vrabel, who was also available last offseason.
