Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro couldn't help raising the Dallas Cowboys while celebrating the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday.
During the Eagles' victory parade celebrating Sunday's Super Bowl victory, Shapiro gave a speech suggesting that the Eagles are “American team.”
“People love to hate the Eagles. People love to hate Philadelphia. I think we've become an American team in all of this. I hope Dallas hears this.” shouted Shapiro in his speech.
Shapiro then reposted an illustrated sports article covering his comments about the X. Many critics laughed at him for comments accordingly.
“Crazy thoughts about teams that haven't won the Super Bowl in 30 years during the parade,” one user wrote.
“We don't want to be an American team. Why do you think we're going to do it? Just stop,” another user wrote.

Other critics quickly pointed out that the Eagles share the state with the Pittsburgh Steelers, which has a longer history of success than the Eagles.
“They aren't even the Pennsylvania team,” one user wrote.
Another user asked, “If the Steelers win next year… what would you say?”
Many users pointed out how much time Shapiro and Philadelphia Mayor Sherrel Parker spent during their speech. Parker even booed between her and met a chant “Rap it up!” From the fans.
“You and the mayor should have said, 'Go Birds' and left the stage. No one was there to meet either of you. I said what I said.

Another user said, “You and Cherelle hugged too much time on the podium. No one wanted to listen to either of you.”
Shapiro fired fire from conservatives on Thursday after suing President Donald Trump's administration. Shapiro said the administration's decision “has put Pennsylvania projects at risk, including retrieving abandoned mine land, capping and plugging orphan wells, and reducing consumer costs.
Meanwhile, the federal government owes debt on federally approved projects.
“The federal government has signed a contract with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to fund congressionally approved for serious needs, including reducing public health, providing safe and clean drinking water, and providing safe and clean drinking water. The Trump administration is committed to providing billions of dollars. This funding freeze has led to the Trump administration breaking its contract.

“Several federal judges have ordered the Trump administration not to remove this fund, but access has not been restored and my administration will pursue legal action to protect the interests of the federal and its residents. There's no other option left.”
The Trump administration has called the legal challenges against Trump's executive orders “an attempt to undermine the will of the American people.” The White House on Thursday dismissed Shapiro's lawsuit as an extension of “resistance on the left.”
“Radical leftists can either swim against the tide and reject the overwhelming will of the people, or work with President Trump to advance their hugely popular agenda. These lawsuits is just an extension of the left-hand resistance — and the Trump administration is ready to stand up to them in court,” said White House principal Harrison Fields.
