Former President Donald Trump has twice responded to President Joe Biden's “trash” comments about Trump supporters, the latest one coming just before midnight.
Biden was asked Tuesday during Kamala Harris' virtual campaign rally about comedian Tony Hinchcliffe's comment at a Trump rally on Sunday that he called Puerto Rico a “floating island of trash.”
“The only trash floating around is (Trump) supporters,” the president said.

Based on the 74.2 million votes Trump received in the 2020 election, the incumbent president called nearly half of the nation's voters “trash,” according to the Federal Election Commission.
Trump didn't hesitate to respond with a tweet.
“While I am running a campaign of positive solutions to save America, Kamala Harris is running a campaign of hate,” Trump wrote. “More than anything, Joe Biden calls our supporters 'trash.' You can't lead America if you don't love the American people. Kamala Harris and Joe Biden are both unfit to be President of the United States.” State.

The White House attempted to retract Biden's remarks by announcing:
“Earlier today, I referred to the hateful rhetoric against Puerto Rico spewed by President Trump's supporters at the Madison Square Garden rally as garbage. That's the only word I can think of to describe it,” Biden said. he tweeted. “His demonization of Latinos is unconscionable. That's all I wanted to say. The comments at that rally do not reflect who we are as a nation.”
Early voting has begun across the country, with voting day set for November 5th.
