Mike Davis, a staunch ally of President-elect Donald Trump, appeared on the podcast “The Benny Show” Thursday and had harsh words for New York State Attorney General Letitia James.
“Let me say this to New York Attorney General Big Tish James…I hope he continues his legal work in President Trump's second term,” said the Article III Project founder. “Because, listen, girl, we're not fooling around this time. And we're going to put that fat guy of yours in jail for conspiracy against rights. I promise you that.”
Davis warned James: “Please think twice before you violate President Trump's constitutional rights and the constitutional rights of other Americans.”
“It will never happen again,” Davis said.

Earlier this year, James ordered Trump held on $454 million bail as part of a civil fraud case against the former commander-in-chief. New York state legislators accused President Trump of inflating property values in order to obtain better loans.
Trump later appealed the ruling. His lawyers called New York Judge Arthur Engoron's ruling “drastic, illegal and unconstitutional.”
After Trump's election victory on Tuesday, James and New York Gov. Kathy Hochul vowed to fight back against any possible “vengeance or retribution” now that President-elect Trump is back in the White House.
In his interview with Johnson, Davis also attacked Fulton County Attorney Fani Willis, who accused Trump of trying to overturn the 2020 election.

“(Fanny Willis) will be disqualified from this case. This case will be sent to another district attorney in Georgia, but since it is not a crime to contest a presidential election, no sane person would “I will not bring this case again,” Davis said.
Willis, a Democrat, won re-election on Tuesday, defeating Republican challenger Courtney Cramer.

Willis made headlines just a month after taking office, and in February 2021, she led an investigation into whether Trump and others broke any laws in their efforts to overturn his narrow loss to Biden in the state. It was announced that there was.
The case is largely on hold, with Mr. Trump and the other defendants appealing a judge's decision to continue prosecuting Mr. Willis.
