Los Angeles Rams receiver DeMarcus Robinson was cited for driving under the influence early Monday after California state troopers say he was driving over 100 mph, hours after the team's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night. was arrested on suspicion of
California Highway Patrol troopers say around 5:10 a.m., Robinson, 30, was driving a white Dodge sedan on Route 101 “northbound at speeds in excess of 100 mph,” according to a news release. He reportedly saw him running.

During the traffic stop, law enforcement officers “observed objective signs and symptoms of alcohol impairment.” The veteran wideout was then arrested on suspicion of DUI and was “named and released to responsible parties.”

He was arrested just a few miles from the team's training facility in Woodland Hills.
Robinson's arrest came just hours after the Rams lost 37-20 at home to the Eagles on Sunday night. In this game, he had two receptions for 15 yards and one touchdown.
Robinson is in his second season with the Rams. He started all 11 games this season and had 26 receptions for 384 yards and a team-leading six touchdown catches.

The Rams did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment, but head coach Sean McVay is scheduled to speak to the media on Tuesday ahead of the Rams' game against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.
Robinson signed with the Rams in 2023 after a brief stint with the Baltimore Ravens the previous year.

Robinson, a fourth-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, played most of his career with the Kansas City Chiefs, who won the Super Bowl in February 2020.
