NFL fans may have just watched the best “Thursday Night Football” game in recent memory.
The Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals engaged in a close game that resembled a Madden game, with the Ravens winning 35-34 in what became an instant classic on home soil.
After Ja'Marr Chase's 70-yard touchdown tied the game with about 5 1/2 minutes left, the Bengals dropped what would have been a huge interception, giving Baltimore an advantage in second life as Lamar Jackson found out. Got it. Rashod Bateman cut the lead to 35-28 with 1:49 left.

But Joe Burrow made his way down the field to the right and found Chase with 38 seconds left for his third touchdown of the night. The first touchdown was a 67-yard score.
Cincy was aggressive all night and this was no different as the offense stayed on the field and scored two points. However, the pass to Tanner Hudson was incomplete (while Chase had 11 catches for 264 yards and three touchdowns). Perhaps the referees overlooked the passer's rough call and defensive pass interference, but alas. Cincy attempted an onside kick, but the Ravens recovered and quickly ended a classic game.
He scored a total of 34 points in the fourth quarter alone.
Trailing 21-14 early in the fourth, Tyrann Wallace had a last-minute 84-yard gain, but Justin Tucker missed the PAT, giving the Bengals a one-point lead. On fourth-and-2 on their next drive from the opponent's 34, they elected to go for it, but the deep pass fell incomplete, giving the Ravens the ball with just over nine minutes left.
The Ravens took the lead when Lamar Jackson found a reinvigorated Mark Andrews for a touchdown and the quarterback ran into a two-point conversation to make it 28-21 Baltimore. But the next play was a 70-yard score by Chase.

The Bengals scored on their first drive of the game after a defensive hold on fourth and goal at the 1-yard line to take an automatic lead. Chase Brown got the job done to give Cincy a 7-0 lead. Baltimore responded relatively quickly, as Lamar Jackson scored Nelson Agholoa to tie the game. Both offenses stalled, but Joe Burrow found Tanner Hudson at the end of the first half and Cincinnati headed back to the locker room with a 14-7 lead.
The aforementioned 67-yard touchdown gave the Bengals a two-score lead early in the third quarter, but two drives later Cincinnati lost a fumble, giving the Ravens the advantage and a 1-yard scoring run by none other than Derrick Henry to take the lead. I scored a point. Another one possession game.
Jackson, the reigning MVP, completed 25 of 33 passes for 290 yards and four touchdowns, all to different receivers. Burrow's 428 yards and four scores were a tough loss as the Bengals defense once again failed to pick up the offense.
In the teams' first meeting of the season, Baltimore won 41-38.
