Boston Red Sox pitcher Walker Bueller returned to the mound for a Tuesday night game against the New York Mets, but his outing didn't last long.
Buehler threw the pitch to Juan Soto at the top of three innings despite the broadcast showing the strike zone being low and inside. Mets infielder Francisco Lindor stole the play's 2 base.

The Red Sox right-hander was unhappy with the phone and began barking at the judgement Mike Estabrook on the home plate. The broadcast caught exactly what Buehler was saying.
“It's just below the f — ing middle,” Buhler said. “It's f — ing middle. …f — Just below you.”
That was enough to throw a Buhler from the game. Red Sox manager Alex Cora was right behind him as he was thrown out too. I got Kora to take it to Estabrook and got in touch with First-Based Judge Raz Diaz, who was trying to maintain peace.
Boston won the game 2-0.
“I'm not going to talk about what he did or didn't. I don't think that's my place,” Booler said after the game. “For me, it spiraled a bit and I said a few things he thought I hadn't thought I should say. Putting our team in that position at the end of the day is the only thing I really regret about the situation.”

It was Buhler's second emission for his career. He had his first start since being activated from the injured list.
Crew member Diaz said Buhler was thrown off the mound to insist on his call.
“He can say things from the mound, but once he leaves the mound, he's off his position to discuss the ball and the strike,” Diaz said. “If someone leaves their position to discuss the ball and the strike, it's an immediate ejection.”
Kora said she was surprised by Buhler's discharge. He hoped Estabrook would throw him alone instead.
“You can throw me away and we can keep the pitcher in the game, but I think he was good enough. I don't know why. At that point, I have to go too,” Cora said. “I thought yesterday would be a good day without me, so I decided to do it again.”
