Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia has signaled she would support banning biological males from women's spaces in “all taxpayer-funded facilities.”
Greene's comments come after Rep. Nancy Mace (RS.C.) said that House members and others who do not identify with their biological sex use single-sex spaces in the Capitol and House office buildings. This came amid efforts to push for a resolution to ban such activities.
“No member, delegate, resident committee member, officer, or employee of the House of Representatives may use single-sex facilities (including restrooms, locker rooms, or changing rooms) located in the Capitol or the House Office Building. “Except for facilities where: such individual's biological sex,” the resolution states, noting that the House Sergeant-at-Arms is tasked with enforcement.

“This is a blatant attempt by far-right extremists to distract from the fact that they have no real solutions to the realities facing the American people. The people of Delaware sent me here to make the American Dream more affordable and accessible. That’s what I’m focused on,” McBride added in another post.
Mr. McBride will be sworn into the U.S. House of Representatives next year.
“He is biologically male,” Green said in the video. “He can go to the men's room,” she said. “His office has a bathroom, like all of us,” she says.
Greene said she would support a resolution that would ban men from women's spaces in “all taxpayer-funded facilities.”
“I support banning men from women's restrooms in the Capitol, but that is not enough,” Greene said in a post on X, which also included the video. “Men should be banned from women’s restrooms in all taxpayer-paid federal buildings.”
