Rory McIlroy rides on and off the track.
The PGA Tour star won his second career player championship on Monday morning, snatching JJ Spaun in the three-hole playoffs after being tied up at 12 under following the final round of rainy Sunday.
If the $4.5 million prize is not satisfied, McIlroy's wife, Erica Stoll, and four-year-old daughter, Poppy, are found to celebrate Northern Ireland's latest victory on the course.

Last June, McIlroy and Stoll canceled their divorce in June 2024. This was originally submitted in May and preceded the PGA Championship held at the Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky.
However, following McIlroy's victory, the couple appears to be getting stronger as they shared a celebratory kiss at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
In November 2024, McIlroy was extremely emotional after winning the race to the Dobito Tournament for the third year in a row. Stoll and her daughter were attended as well, but it clearly hit him after a vigorous season.

“I have experienced a lot personally and professionally this year,” he said via Sky Sports after the victory. “It feels like the end of the fitting in 2024. I had a lot of patience this year, made close calls and couldn't get it done, so I managed to get through the line.
When asked about his family attending for the victory, McIlroy replied, “Their support means the world to me.”

“To be able to show Poppy some of the reasons why I don't always exist as I'm working and practicing… it's incredible that they were with me this week.
McIlroy told the Guardian in June 2024 that the differences between her and Stoll had been reconciled, “Erica and I have realized that our best future is together. Thankfully, we are solving the differences and looking forward to a new beginning.”
A report surfaced on Weekly when news broke about McIlroy filing for divorce.
However, as the divorce filing said last May, the marriage wasn't entirely “irreparable” and McIlroy and Stoll celebrated again with their daughter after a major victory on the PGA Tour.
McIlroy finished three holes in one over Monday morning, but it was enough to beat Spaun, who was three over to finish in second place.

McIlroy, who won the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-AM last month, will be turning his eyes to the Masters at Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia next month.
