With about two weeks until Election Day, the Senate Majority PAC is launching millions of new digital and radio ads in Texas against Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas). announced that it would be purchased.
Cruz is a two-term senator and is seeking his third term this term.

In the 30-second spot, a woman identified as Dr. Nancy O. claimed that “Texas women are in danger because of Ted Cruz.”
She said it was illegal to “provide care” to pregnant rape victims or pregnant women with “severe complications.”
“Colin Allred will restore women's right to make their own medical decisions,” she said.

“The stakes in the Texas Senate race couldn't be higher. Ted Cruz has spent his time in office relentlessly pursuing a dangerous agenda and self-serving politics, with total indifference to the needs of Texans, and to voters. knows this,” the SMP chairman said. JB Porsche said in a statement.
“That’s why Senate Majority PAC is going on the offensive, speaking to voters, and working to elect a true bipartisan leader, Rep. Colin Allred, to represent Texas in the Senate.”
The reversal of Roe v. Wade made abortion illegal in most cases in Texas and allowed each state to set its own laws regarding abortion.

There are exceptions if the mother's life is in danger, in which case an abortion may be performed. But critics say there is little clarity on what constitutes a medical emergency under Texas law.
The state has no exceptions for rape and incest and is often supported by Republicans.
Former President Trump has advocated keeping the issue at the state level, and Republicans generally support his stance. In a recent interview, Cruz said abortion policy should be decided by each state.
Conversely, the NDP plans to enact Roe v. Wade into law if it wins the presidency and a majority in Congress.
