Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer announced on Tuesday “retaining all DOJ political candidates.” He is demanding answers from the Trump administration to the gift of a jumbo jet from Qatar's royal family, which Democrats call “a serious national security threat.”
“The news that Qatar's government will give Donald Trump a $400 million private jet is so corrupted to use it for use as an air force, Putin will also be giving a double take. This is not just naked corruption, it is also a serious national security threat.”
“So, in light of the deep and troubling news of the potential of the Air Force that Qatar could fund and the report that the Attorney General has personally signed this clearly unethical deal, I am announcing the holds of all DOJ political candidates until I get more answers,” he added.
A White House spokesman told Fox News Digital in response to “Senator Schumer and his anti-law and order party prevent Trump from obstructing the safe agenda again, ending his attitude, stopping the Senate masonry, and prioritizing American safety and civil rights.”

Trump defended the United States to serve as a temporary air force, preparing to accept the jumbo jet gifts from Qatar's royal family, as Boeing failed to deploy a new one-fleet of Air Force in a timely manner.
“We are extremely disappointed that Boeing is taking so long to build a new Air Force,” Trump said Monday morning. “You know, we have a 40-year-old Air Force, and if you look at it, it's not even the same ballgame, compared to the equivalent new plane, compared to its height at the time.”
The Trump administration is expected to accept a $400 million Boeing 747-8 jumbo jet from Qatar's royal family, reported Sunday morning. ABC News reported that Trump will use the jet until the end of his term and until it is given to his presidential library.

In a speech Tuesday, Schumer said he was asking the Justice Department's Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA) unit to disclose all actions by those working as US Qatari foreign agents as “which could benefit President Trump or the Trump organization.”
“The Justice Department has not done any work on Farah since the Attorney General was in charge. Farah units need to enforce the law and notify the public to the public about this luxurious airplane transaction, as well as all transactions involving the Middle East and President Trump, his family and foreign presidents of the Trump organization,” he said.
“Secondly, Americans deserve to know the facts about this $500,000 private jet contract. President Trump told the American people this was a “free jet.” Does that mean that Catalis offers a day-of-day plane with all the security measures already built in? “Schumer continued.
“If so, how do you know who installed those security measures and that they were properly installed? Why do we risk foreigners trusting them to do this delicate job? Schumer wondered out loud on the Senate floor.

“The Attorney General must testify in both the House and Senate to explain why he is giving Donald Trump a private jet. “I will hold all political candidates to the Department of Justice until the Attorney General explains her blatantly inappropriate decisions and has a complete and comprehensive answer to these and other questions.”
