Republican Senator Thom Tillis of North Carolina has issued an ultimatum to North Carolina Republican gubernatorial candidate Mark Robinson, saying he “owes President Trump” in the wake of the shocking news of his alleged pornography scandal.
“If the reports about Mark Robinson are a complete media fabrication, he needs to take immediate legal action,” Tillis said in a post on X on Friday.
“If the reports are true, he owes it to President Trump and all Republicans to take responsibility for his actions and put the future of North Carolina and our party above himself,” he said.

Tillis' statement came after Robinson denied any involvement in the scandal in a social media video and vowed to remain in the New York gubernatorial race.
“Please be assured that what you see in this article are not the words of Mark Robinson. You know my words, you know my character, you know I have been fully transparent in this campaign and before. Friends, in this campaign my opponents are desperately trying to shift the focus away from the substantive issues and towards the salacious trappings and tabloid rubbish that you are concerned about,” he said in the X video.

CNN, in a report Thursday afternoon, claimed Robinson had previously used a pornographic website called “Nude Africa.”
On the porn site, Robinson allegedly exchanged messages with other users about spying on women in locker rooms as a teenager, calling himself a “black Nazi” and professing a love for transgender porn. According to CNN, the candidates' involvement lasted from 2008 to 2012, long before Robinson entered politics in 2019.

In another post from 2010, CNN reported that Robinson, while discussing black Republicans, said, “I'm a black Nazi!”
