After being named “2024 Sportsperson of the Year,” Biles said in an interview with Sports Illustrated that he believed it would be “greedy” to return to the Olympics after seeing so much success. He said he is doing so.
“If you go back, you'll be greedy. Those are the consequences. But it's also your decision to make,” she said in an interview. “What sacrifices would I make if I went back now? When I was younger, it was like prom and college. Now it's like having a family and being away from my husband. What is really worth it?” Is it?”

Biles is married to Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens. The two married in April 2023 and have been photographed cheering each other on at each event since then.
Owens signed a two-year contract with the Bears in March 2024 after spending one season with the Green Bay Packers. He was exempted from the start of training camp this summer to support his wife as she continues to make history at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

As Biles moves on to the next chapter of his life, he hinted to Sports Illustrated that a return to the Olympic stage in 2028 is a very likely prospect.
“I've accomplished so much so far, there's not much left to do. Rather than just being bossy and trying again, for what? When should I end my career?” I'm at a humble enough time to know what's going on.” ”
