The last day of Dalton Mayor Tiffany Enyard's term appears to be unfolding with more condemnation than the controversy that marked much of her tenure.
The scandal-plagued self-proclaimed “super mayor” failed to compete on her final village board on Monday, showing her fourth consecutive absence, according to the report.
Henard lost his re-election bid in February to campaign with transparency and reform, pledge a “clean home” and return accountability to the Dalton government. The House then swept the April 1 election with 95% of votes against independent candidate Casundra Hopson-Jordan.

The House, which will be launched on May 5, said the 2023 and 2024 audits will be conducted over concerns about financial dismantling for the next four months. Since Enard took office, the village has been in arrears on submitting annual financial reports and audits to the Secretary's office.
Henyard's tenure has attracted the public attention of the small Chicago suburbs for all the wrong reasons.
In April 2024, the FBI served as a subpoena at Dalton Village Hall amid allegations of corruption among officials. Henard was not offered.

Dalton Mayor Tiffany Enyard was founded after emptied the court after allegedly establishing a liquor license.
Two months later, a town meeting fell into chaos two months later when her enemies and supporters clashed after Dalton's trustee voted to revive former Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot to investigate Henard. Residents accused taxpayers of not only charging thousands of dollars for their hair and makeup teams, but also using village funds as their own piggy bank by going on a gorgeous trip to Las Vegas.
The town had previously hired Lightfoot to look into Hennard, but Mayor Dalton refused to do so. Enyard previously rejected the board's request to commence a federal investigation to gather information about her spending and alleged financial mismanagement.

Enyard was called “the worst mayor in America” by critics and was attacked on suspicion of sexual assault by one of his allies during his Vegas trip. Enyard cancer charities are also facing scrutiny.
A federal subpoena was signed on February 25th, the day Enyard lost Dalton's mayoral primary as authorities pursued a criminal investigation linked to the exiled mayor. Subpoena is tied to a development project involving the land reportedly owned by Henyard's boyfriend, Fox 32 Chicago reported.

Meanwhile, Henniard's ally, Dalton Councillor Andrew Holmes, also said it was a no-show at Monday's meeting, with some residents saying they didn't show up in months. The new administration wants to consider why Holmes is still being paid, despite Holmes not participating in the village meeting, CBS reports.
Enyard also supervisor of Thornton Township Supervisor, one of 29 townships in Cook County, Illinois, where Dalton is located in Thornton Township.
She was defeated in her bid for the reelection of the supervisor by Illinois Sen. Napoleon Harris.
In January, Enard was seen in the video jumping into a chaotic brawl that broke out between her boyfriend and activists who called her a “B —-.”
