There doesn't appear to be any rift between Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes, after the latter sparked controversy on social media when she voiced her support for former President Donald Trump.
Swift was at Flushing Meadows with Travis Kelce and the Mahomes family to watch the U.S. Open, where Swift and Brittany Mahomes were photographed sharing an affectionate embrace.
Swift and Mahomes were sitting in separate suites during the Chiefs' win over the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night, and there didn't appear to be any animosity between them — though there may have been some because Mahomes has been embroiled in a social media controversy.

Mahomes' social media likes have sparked heated debate on social media in recent weeks. She first voiced her support for Trump on August 13, when she liked an Instagram post outlining Trump's “2024 Republican Platform.” The swimsuit model then appeared to respond to the criticism on her Instagram Story.
“Let's be honest: harboring hatred as an adult means you have deep-rooted issues from childhood that you refuse to heal,” she writes. “It's impossible for a fully developed brain to hate seeing others doing well.”
She posted another cryptic message on social media.
“Contrary to the mood of the world today, you can disagree with someone and still love them. You can disagree and still be kind to them,” she wrote on Aug. 26. “Read that again!”
Mahomes was later seen liking a comment in support of her position.
Trump later thanked her for her apparent support.

NFL legend Tom Brady gives enthusiastic commentary on Week 1 Cowboys vs. Browns game: “Let's go”
“I want to thank the beautiful Brittany Mahomes for her strong defense of me and the fact that MAGA is the greatest and most powerful political movement in the history of our country that is now in decline,” Trump wrote.
“With crime and illegal immigration totally out of control, inflation hitting all over the US, and the world laughing at the stupidity of our hapless 'leaders', it's nice to have someone who loves our country and wants to save it from ruin. What a great couple. See you at the Super Bowl!”
Fears of a rift between the pair were fuelled on Thursday when photos were posted of them not together, but all that appears to be in the past.

The group was scheduled to watch to see if Taylor Fritz could end an American winless streak at a Grand Slam tournament.
Fritz will face top-seeded Jannik Sinner. Fritz beat Francis Tiafoe in the semifinals, while Sinner beat Jack Draper to earn a chance to win the tournament. Sinner has one Grand Slam title to his name, while Fritz is looking to win his first title.
But the pressure is mounting.
Swift, Kelce and the Mahomes family were among the celebs in attendance for the event — Kelce was fresh off the Chiefs' season-opening win over the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night — and Swift was in attendance to watch her boyfriend play.
The pair returned to New York after the game. The Chiefs don't play again until next Sunday, when they host the Cincinnati Bengals.
If Fritz can pull off the upset, he will become the first American to win the U.S. Open since Andy Roddick did so in 2003, defeating Juan Carlos Ferrero in straight sets. That was also the last time an American won a Grand Slam tournament. Andre Agassi also won the Australian Open in 2003.

Fritz is closer to a final than he has been in a long time. This will be his first Grand Slam final of his career. He reached the quarterfinals at the Australian Open and Wimbledon earlier this year.
