The NFL was anything but cautious when it released a promotional video for the upcoming 2024 season.
The video features appearances from superstars such as New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson, former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs and, of course, Taylor Swift.
Swift appeared in the video five times, more than the aforementioned NFL figures and other players, including quarterbacks Lamar Jackson, Dak Prescott, Josh Allen and Daniel Jones.

The Swift Effect was in full effect during the NFL season, when the pop star's romance with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce began in earnest. Swift made an appearance at Arrowhead Stadium early in the season when the Chiefs played the Chicago Bears and quickly became a mainstay.
Former New York Giants offensive lineman Justin Pugh told Fox News Digital that Swift's affiliation with the league is good for everyone, especially when it comes to cashing checks.
“Taylor Swift brought a new audience and new apparel. You look at Kristin Jusic, she launched her own clothing brand online, and now she has licensing deals,” he said. “In the sports business, and especially the NFL business, the NFL gets 48.23% of every dollar that comes in. The more dollars that come in, the more money goes towards our salary cap, benefits, and gives players. So who doesn't want that?”
“Let's get her in the NFL more, let's get the whole of America watching. It'll do more for our bank accounts.”
Not only that, Swift also opens up the NFL to a whole new audience in 2023.

MarketWatch reported in February that the NFL has benefited from Swift's addition to the Chiefs, boosting their brand value to $122 million in just a few months and leading to a 53% increase in NFL viewership among 12- to 17-year-olds.
CBS Sports also announced that Super Bowl 55 saw a 9% increase in female viewership over Super Bowl 55.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell also commented on the trend ahead of the Super Bowl.
“It's good that there's a Taylor Swift effect,” Goodell told Fox Sports. “Both Travis and Taylor are great young men and they seem very happy. She knows great entertainment and I think that's why she loves NFL football.”
Goodell also speculated that Swift's appearance in the game created even more “buzz” for the league.

“I think it's great to have her on board. Of course it's going to create a buzz. It's going to create a group of young fans, especially young women, who want to know why she goes to this game and why she's interested in this game. In addition to her relationship with Travis, she's a football fan. I think that's going to be great for us.”

Swift will likely be the center of attention again when the season begins, with the Chiefs looking to do something no NFL team has done in the Super Bowl era: win three consecutive Super Bowls.
