Before she won several WNBA MVP trophies, Candace Parker became national basketball fame at the University of Tennessee. Parker is a member of two National Championship Winning Teams and has earned the honor of the best player in the NCAA Tournament.
Parker was led by Coach Pat Summit during his outstanding tenure with volunteers. Parker, a “NBA” analyst at TNT, took a little time to share whether he continues to carry lessons that the late coach planted several years ago.
“I think eye contact is really, really, really important, and she was the first person to let her see her when she spoke,” Parker responded to co-host Adam Lefcaux's request to share memorable advice from the summit during the “Story Time” segment.

Lefkoe thanked Parker and recalled another story the three-time WNBA champion once told.
“We all want you to have a relationship with someone in the way you do it with Pat,” Lefcoe said. “I will never forget to tell you how you came to college. You are hurt, she will sit you there, and you guys will talk. I think it's a blessing. We don't have these relationships the same as you, so thank you for sharing these stories.
