Bebo XV, the Texas Longhorns' popular mascot, will not be traveling to the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl in the next round of the College Football Playoff, as the team will face Arizona State University.

Peach Bowl organizers made the announcement Monday.
“While we love all of the great traditions of college football and there is no doubt that Bebo is one of the best, the unfortunate reality is that there is not enough space on the sidelines at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. “, their statement reads.

The Peach Bowl is scheduled to be held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. It was the site of the SEC Championship between Texas and Georgia. Bebo was also banned from participating in the event.
Bebo has had a bit of a fight with Uga, Georgia's mascot, in the past. The mascot broke through a barricade at that year's Sugar Bowl and nearly trampled a dog and onlookers at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

Texas won 38-24 in the first round against Clemson. Ewers completed 17 of 24 for 202 passing yards and one touchdown pass. Jadon Blue and Quinleveon Wisner each ran for over 100 yards.
